Biography

In 1996, Raúl, Booby, Orlando and Luis jointed their talents to make a band called "BLOKE". The band started writing unfinished songs from their previous band " ACT OF MISERY". Songs like: "solo vive tu vida" and "realidad" were the first songs that BLOKE rehearse. Those songs were the one that developed the chemistry that BLOKE were looking for. After the band finished writing the song called "Jack" they realized that, that is the kind of music that will define "BLOKE". In 1998 Luis (drums) left the band and was replaced by Wilfredo Morales "Bebe" (golpe justo), but he didn't last too long with the band. Soon after, Raúl (Guitar) decided to join the National Guard and the band split up. By 2001 Raúl (lead guitar) called Booby (guitar/singer) to do an attempt to make Bloke again. They called Orlando (bass), but he was not available to be in the band. That is when Booby approached David Grau (R.I.P.) who took the opportunity to be in the band and gave the band a challenge to be at his level. Immediately Luis (drums) joined back with the band. Hey but guess what? Gulf war II Started and Raúl was activated to go to war. In October 2003 Raúl arrived from Saudi Arabia to find out that the band didn't want to play without him and everybody split up. Raúl called Booby again to give BLOKE another chance and they started searching for musicians, that is when they learned that Rolando (ex-undamaged drums) moved back to Puerto Rico from Florida and he was recruit immediately together with B.B. Justo (Golpe Justo's singer) as a Bass player. After a few rehearsals the band couldn't find a steady place to practice so they decided to do a pause and do something else. In 2005 Bloke got reunited again, with a new name "BLOKKE". This time with Rubén "Obi" (ex-sin remedio) as a bass player. The band has returned to the Puerto Rican scene that haven't see them after a few years, promising to be heavier than ever.
